-I'm currently 24 years of age, I grew up in a small town of Shirts, Texas with a population of two hundred and fifty. I've always been influenced by country ways and raisings by the good Lord's word. I've worked with my grandfather on a farm growing up through school, till i was about eighteen. Upon graduation of Highschool, i took a year of Law Enforcement studies at the University of Texas. The dorm and book fees were too much for me to handle, so i then enlisted in the United States Army to help fund my schooling. I have completed my Three year requirement, and am fresh out of Iraq. I've came back to my country town to visit some of my old college buddies, we had a few beers and i heard a radio announcement about the recruitment drive on the Sheriff's Department, and thought i'd get back into my goal of being a Law Enforcement Deputy.From a very young age law enforcement/legal work has always been something that has interested me to a great level. I've been wanting to pursue a career in something like this for a long time, however have never got round to doing it. What has triggered this is the fact that earlier today, if not given help by a kind Cadet who sadly died in battle, I would of been raped killed and robbed. It saddens me to think that this sort of behaviour can go on in a small town such as Blueberry, and if I wasn't in the car with the cadet then it could have been fatal. I want to fight the streets of crime and make sure that citizens feel safe and secure while walking around Blueberry or Dillimore. It's through this recent traumatic experience that has led me to apply for the LSGS today and hope to pursue a life long career in this field of work.
2.4 Why do you want to Join us? (min. 100 words):
-My name is Victor William borned in San Fierro, general county hospital. I am twenty one years old. I grew up in San Fierro with my uncle as he was an Ex-LSPD officer. My uncle it's who bought me passion towards joining San Andreas Sheriff Department although he worked for SFGS. I was so impreseed by the work that police officer does, that made be very interst towards joining LSGS. I was borned in San Fierro due to family problems I had to move to Los Santos. I had no money, No job nothing. I decided to try out of trucker as I was a decent driver. With a trucking job I made quite a money then bought myself a apartment. Before I used to live with my friend in Jefferson small apartment. Life not as good back in the days. Trucking made me stand on my foot. I worked hard earned money, Made enough to educate myself in Police Academy.
It was an Academy where I learnt basic stuff for example what is it to be like an cop basic tactics. After earning good money, I decided to train myself in shooting. I started going to shooting practise place learnt shooting got myself a gun Licenses. I went to University for Three years I did decent job. I had scholoarship for Portland State University although I realized my main aim is to be a cop so I decided to decline the offer and thought of taking Police Academy and get myself thru the process. I've been working, I tried hanging out with cops who used to sureviallince our school. I used to go to them ask them questions about how police job used to work, I was at the age of fourteen when I was so much interested and wanted to know. When I was in middle shcool my English teacher who actually really wanted to know about me, I told her in future I'll be a cop. She decided to encourage and help me. As she had a contact with an Chief of San Fierro she decided to call the chief in school so that I can gain more knowledge and get more interested. Chief came in, gave me a lot of information about cops. Now I am twenty one years old finally a time where I can actually fulfill my dream. I've been working hard all these times, done few police academy learning/Got myself in a foot and thought of applying for LSGS.And not to just walk around do some normal job without any meaning I really would like to help the community in any way that I can.
And I would like to earn some education from the police like how the criminel way of thinking, because It isn't regualr way of thinking, like where to drug deal and when, this is some things that I really would like to know and it even my help me in the future and maybe in any sub department that I'd like to go too, I am also believing that everything that will learn in the Police will be useful in the future.
And another reason why I would like to join is that a police officer earns and enjoys respect and proud standing in a community. Children and adults often look up to a police office. It is an extremely rewarding career in that it allows a person to keep the public from harm and to keep the town safe. A police officer builds bonds with the community and its people. It is an ongoing learning experience and journey in life.
